This course is the branch of mathematics dealing with the manipulation of numbers. Arithmetic is used in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Like all math courses, we use PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication-Division, and Addition-Subtraction) to guide us to solve problems.
